The December 2017 issue develops the institute's membership of the EFMD, the European Foundation for Management Development, an international non-profit organisation of associations and business schools based in Brussels. With nearly 900 member organisations from academia, business, public service and consulting in 86 countries, the EFMD provides a forum for information, research, networking and debate on innovation and best practices in management development, and is recognised worldwide as an accreditation body for business schools, their programmes, corporate universities and online courses; links to its magazine, guide, blog, events and social networks are provided. The newsletter announces a new partnership with the Institut supérieur de management et de l'entrepreneuriat in Douala, Cameroon. A visual retrospective congratulates the new doctors in business administration who graduated on 28 September in Luxembourg in the presence of the minister for cooperation, the director of the iaelyon School of Management, the director of CESAG and 28 professors of the Scientific Council, and shows the seminars of the German-language Executive DBA run with the European Institute for Knowledge and Value Management, with professors Jean Moscarola, Lars Meyer-Waarden and André Reuter. The issue also presents the EMS collection, the agenda, press coverage, the new doctoral student-managers, publications, a zoom and news from management research.
