About this document
The October 2018 issue looks back at the International Week in Wiltz in figures: eighty doctoral candidates and doctors, forty professors present, nine DBA vivas and three new books added to the Business Science Institute collection published by éditions EMS, with a link to the graduation photographs. It then covers the launch ceremony of the new Executive DBA programme in Bamako, Mali, held on 7 September, with photos and videos, the inaugural speech by Professor Michel Kalika, president of the institute, and the address by Mohamad Gakou, doctor of the institute and managing director of ISPRIC, the institute for political sciences, international relations and communications, as well as coverage on the Malian public broadcaster ORTM. The ceremony was also the occasion to announce a new book in the collection, Gouvernance et management des risques, by Dramane Sidibe, a 264-page study of boards of directors available in bookshops from 4 October. The agenda lists the seminars of the month: qualitative research methods and thematic paradigms for the Douala cohort from 18 to 20 October, thematic paradigms for the fifth Dakar cohort from 26 to 28 October and qualitative methodology for the third Paris cohort from 25 to 27 October, followed by online resources, nominations, awards and publications.
