About this document
The May 2019 issue lists the Thematic Paradigms II seminar of the fourth Paris cohort from 2 to 4 May and a supervisory seminar open to all cohorts on 2 May. Readers are invited to save the date of the next International Week, to be held from 23 to 26 September 2019 in Wiltz, whose programme will include conferences, seminars, exchanges between doctoral students, graduates and professors, supervisory workshops, Executive DBA thesis oral examinations, the graduation ceremony and the Managerial Impact award. The life of the institute section offers several photo reports: the Thematic Paradigms II seminar of the fifth Geneva cohort on 4, 5 and 6 April with professors Marc Bonnet, Maurice Thévenet and Kiane Goudarzi; the same seminar for the first Bamako cohort on 11, 12 and 13 April with Emmanuel Kamdem and Nicolas Poussing; and the introductory seminar of the second Douala cohort on 18, 19 and 20 April with Emmanuel Kamdem and Geneviève Causse. The publications section announces three new books stemming from Executive DBA theses in the Recherches du DBA collection at EMS editions, starting with the work of Abdourahmane Ba, from the Geneva cohort, on the effectiveness of monitoring and evaluation systems for development programmes, followed by videos and management research news.
