About this document
The January 2020 issue opens with a joint interview of Bérangère Deschamps, full professor at the University of Grenoble Alpes, research fellow at the CERAG laboratory and member of the Academic Council, and Thierry Lamarque, chairman of Althéo and doctor of the institute from the first Paris cohort. Professor Deschamps explains that she is in charge of developing entrepreneurship in the university technology institutes, leads the innovation and organisational complexity research theme at CERAG and co-founded the Business Transfer and Entrepreneurship research group sponsored by AEI and AIREPME. Thierry Lamarque presents ALTHEO, the consultancy he founded in 2004 and which specialises in company takeovers; after more than five hundred assignments he measured the vital importance of the negotiation phase and, having already published two books on the subject, wanted to theorise his practice by joining the DBA programme. The issue continues with a selection of books that create impact for 2020, testimonies on the impact of the Executive DBA, the opening of an Executive DBA in Abidjan, the arrival of a new member of the management team, the institute's social media presence, access to the EBSCO Ultimate database, photo highlights, the agenda and admissions. The exchange also returns to the thesis he defended on the negotiation process in external SME takeovers, and to the way the doctoral work reshaped his consulting practice and the advice he now gives to buyers.
