About this document
The June 2021 issue announces that the Business Science Institute is now a member of the Executive DBA Council. Founded in 2011, the council's mission is to foster excellence and innovation in Executive DBA programmes around the world and to provide networking and educational opportunities for the professionals who serve and participate in them, including directors, academic directors, faculty, administrators, students and alumni. As a member, the institute will take part in the 2021 Engaged Management Scholarship Conference at Florida International University. For Professor Michel Kalika, this new membership of an internationally recognised academic and professional network represents a further step in the international recognition of the institute's Executive DBA programme for managers. The issue then publishes an account of the genesis of the institute, opening on the idea that no one is a prophet in their own land when they are born international, and retracing the story of international managers who, several years after completing an MBA and acquiring extensive business experience, wished to return to conceptual work. It continues with the interview of the month, new members of faculty, faculty news, April highlights, publications, videos, media coverage and admissions. The issue reflects a year marked by the consolidation of the international recognition obtained by the institute.
