About this document
Third issue of Impact & Knowledge, published in February 2025 and largely dedicated to the White Paper on the Doctorate of Business Administration published by FNEGE, a project the president had the honour of initiating and the pleasure of coordinating alongside Professor Jean-Pierre Helfer. With contributions from twelve DBA-granting institutions, including the Business Science Institute, the publication serves three key objectives: raising awareness of the DBA, securing its recognition and providing strategic recommendations. Readers discover the impact of the institute's DBA and the profiles of two doctors featured in the publication. The issue concludes with an Impact(s) article presenting the research findings of Doctor Aubin Mwansa Museka, whose thesis, defended in 2024 under the supervision of Professor Emmanuel Kamdem, explores doing business in a crisis and hostile environment through a cross-section of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Guinea. The White Paper section itself argues for management research carried out for the benefit of companies in an era of multiple transitions. The issue thus links an institutional advocacy document with concrete illustrations drawn from recent theses, showing how the White Paper's arguments translate into individual trajectories. Each contribution is signed by a professor, an associate researcher or a doctor of the institute, and extends research work carried out within the programme.
