Eighth issue of Impact & Knowledge, published in December 2025. As the year draws to a close, the editorial invites readers to reflect on the profound transformations under way, particularly those driven by the rise of artificial intelligence. Two contributions call for caution and reflection: the first examines how AI, beyond its extraordinary promises, may in fact be fuelling an economic bubble, while the second warns of the risks of a uniform, polished and standardised language. Together these perspectives remind readers that AI is not neutral, since it reshapes scientific, economic and cultural practices as well as ways of thinking, producing, writing and communicating; far from rejecting it, the objective is to embed it within a responsible and informed approach that respects diversity, depth and the human dimension. The two Impact(s) articles pursue this line of inquiry in different domains, responsible finance and public procurement, illustrating how rigour, ethics and analytical depth remain the foundation of any serious endeavour. The issue closes by encouraging readers to stay curious, demanding, critical and engaged. Each contribution is signed by a professor, an associate researcher or a doctor of the institute, and extends research work carried out within the programme. Like the other issues of this bimonthly letter, the edition gives the floor to faculty members and alumni in order to make their work accessible to practitioners.
