The April 2022 issue opens with a foreword on the first Impact Seminar, where some sixty professors took part in workshops reviewing the institute's strategy and activities, alongside nine thesis defences and a series of supervisory seminars. Over the three days, the results of the communication audit carried out by Professor Jean-Philippe Denis were presented, the organisation of the next international week was outlined and the principle of recurring events was agreed: the Certificate of Research and DBA thesis defences from 27 to 30 September 2022 in central Paris, then on 1 October the graduation ceremony, impact meetings with alumni and the launch of the strategic meetings at the Trianon Palace in Versailles, a date readers are invited to save. The president also directs readers to the XERFI Canal videos gathered in the media section of the new website. A full report on the Impact Seminar, held from 10 to 12 March at the Espace Vinci and online, describes the enthusiasm of participants finally able to meet again after two years of working remotely, and the issue closes with the institute's collection, faculty news and campus life. The foreword insists on the value of gathering the faculty around a shared strategic exercise rather than around defences alone.
