The May 2017 issue opens with a visual retrospective of the April seminars: the second Paris cohort with Professor Jean Moscarola for Thematic Paradigm I from 6 to 8 April, and the fourth Geneva cohort with professors Olivier Lavastre and Charles-Henri Besseyre des Horts for Thematic Paradigm II from 20 to 22 April, while the agenda announces the Dakar seminars at the end of the month. The core of the issue is devoted to the FNEGE award ceremony for certified publications and thesis prizes, held on 20 April 2017 at the Economic, Social and Environmental Council in Paris under the patronage of Pierre-André de Chalendar, chief executive of the Saint-Gobain group. Among the prizes presented by Helke Carvalho-Hernandes, deputy director general of the EFMD, and Hélène Rainelli-Weiss, president of the certification authority, the single-author research category went to Isabelle Walsh for Découvrir de nouvelles théories, published in the Business Science Institute collection at EMS, and the textbook category to Robert Reix, Bernard Fallery, Michel Kalika and Frantz Rowe for the seventh edition of Systèmes d'information et management at Vuibert. The FNEGE-AGRH thesis award 2017 went to Julia Vincent-Ponroy, supervised by Professor Françoise Chevalier, and many books by members of the institute received official certification during the ceremony.
