The May 2018 issue details the month's timeline: in Dakar, the qualitative methodology seminar of the fifth cohort from 3 to 5 May with professors Marielle-Audrey Payaud and Bassirou Tidjani, followed by thesis follow-up juries on 6 May; in Paris, the Thematic Paradigm II seminar of the third cohort from 3 to 5 May with Emmanuel Josserand, Ulrike Mayrhofer, Jean-Pierre Helfer and Sébastien Liarte, and a follow-up seminar on 3 May for the Paris, Luxembourg and Geneva cohorts with professors Caillaud, Casta, Causse, Deschamps, Dupuy and Kalika. The central announcement is a call for papers for a collective book of case studies based on defended DBA theses, Case-studies by Doctor-Managers, to be published by EMS in the Business Science Institute collection. It will bring together eight to twelve case studies of real companies and organisations, grouped by theme, each designed as a ready-to-use pedagogical tool for training courses and seminars, edited by professors Marc Favier and Michel Kalika. Two free writing workshops are planned for contributors and future contributors, on 21 June in Paris and on 27 September at Wiltz Castle during the fourth annual International Seminar and graduation week. The issue also includes a save the date, the presentation of new doctoral students, a zoom on Yvon Pesqueux, publications, a video, press coverage and management research news.
