The June 2023 issue extends the reflection on impact through the trajectory of one graduate, Doctor Cédric Baudet, from the first Geneva cohort. Right from the beginning of his DBA journey, he approached members of the faculty because of shared interests in methodological areas of research; discussions ensued, sometimes leading to friendships based on a common interest in a geographical region or even in food, and the first publications followed, then others. Today this graduate has come a long way: from doctoral student to doctor, he has become president of the alumni association DBA Saper & Praxis and an associate researcher; holder of a second, more traditional PhD thesis and thesis director in his own institution, he is now a full member of the faculty and continues to publish with his first mentors. The president draws a conclusion from this: whether it concerns doctoral candidates, doctors or faculty members, the impact of an Executive DBA thesis can be measured at any moment. The issue then presents the new Insight Into Research series and gathers news from the faculty, the doctors and the Executive DBA students. This portrait shows how a doctoral journey can extend into associative commitment, teaching and joint publications with former supervisors. The format combines institutional information, event reports and the promotion of work produced by members of the community.
