The February 2015 issue reviews the institute's expanding programmes. In Geneva, a new Executive Doctorate in Business Administration opens in April, with the 2015 booklet available for download and enrolment open. In Dakar, the partnership signed with the African centre for higher education in management, CESAG, has materialised: the first seminar on conducting the thesis took place from 22 to 25 January in the presence of professors Michel Kalika, Birahim Gueye, Mouhamed El Bachir Wade and Boubacar Baidari, director of CESAG. The 2015-2017 Dakar class brings together thirteen African managers working in sectors as diverse as public administration, NGOs, the agriculture and food economy, telephony, banking, micro finance and education, all of them MBA graduates preparing a doctorate based on their professional experience. Videos of the launch ceremony and interviews with Michel Kalika and Boubacar Baidari are shared. The issue also announces the publishing agreement between the Business Science Institute and EMS Management & Société for a collection of books written by faculty members and doctoral candidates, centred on knowledge creation by managers, with the first titles planned for 2015 by Paul Beaulieu and Michel Kalika, Isabelle Walsh, Frédéric Favre, Cédric Baudet and Mohamed El Hédi Guelmami. A Le Monde blog article completes the edition by presenting the DBA as a doctorate designed for practising managers rather than for aspiring academics.
