À propos de ce document
The April 2015 issue opens with the agenda: in Geneva, the new Executive DBA class of 2015-2017 starts with the seminar on conducting the thesis from 16 to 18 April, while the North American cohort holds its sixth thesis supervision seminar on 25 April. The main news item reports on the third Luxembourg seminar, Thematic Paradigm II, held from 19 to 21 March for the eight international managers of the first cohort who are writing their Executive DBA dissertations. The seminar was led by several professors from the Scientific Council: Jean-Philippe Denis, editor in chief of the Revue Française de Gestion and co-author of the Encyclopédie de la stratégie; Sébastien Liarte, co-editor in chief of the journal M@n@gement and a specialist in competitive dynamics, innovation and entrepreneurship; Laurent Weill, director of the LaRGE research centre and a specialist in economics and finance; and Michel Kalika. The session allowed the doctoral managers to deepen their subject and move their research forward. The videos section features two contributions by Yvon Pesqueux, on the taste for the future and on the shift from legal contract to psychological contract, exploring why people commit, why some break their commitments and how corporate strategies affect the psychological contract binding an organisation to its members. The issue closes by introducing Yvon Pesqueux as a new member of the Scientific Council, professor at the Conservatoire national des arts et métiers.
