À propos de ce document
The December 2015 issue opens with a reading recommendation: Michelle Bergadaà's book Le plagiat académique, comprendre pour agir, published by L'Harmattan, which the newsletter argues should be required reading before writing, for master's students, for PhD and DBA candidates, for researchers whose profession is to produce knowledge and for those in charge of academic journals and institutions. The agenda announces the introductory seminar of the Luxembourg class of 2015-2018, held from 10 to 12 December. The awards section reports that Alex Osterwalder and Yves Pigneur received the Thinkers50 Strategy Award 2015 for their research, entering the biannual ranking of the world's fifty top thinkers in fifteenth place; the two researchers are the authors of Business Model Generation, Business Model You and Value Proposition Design, and the inventors of the business model canvas. The issue then introduces new members of the Scientific Council. Ewald Eisenberg, doctor of public law, teaches public law and local development at the University of Applied Administrative Sciences in Kehl, where he holds the chair of public law; his research covers decentralisation, good governance and capacity building, and he has designed training centres and sustainable funding models in Benin, Romania and Mali. Demetris Vrontis is professor of marketing and dean of the School of Business at the University of Nicosia in Cyprus, a widely published author and chartered marketer.
