The June 2016 issue notes that enrolment has begun for the Casablanca, Geneva, Luxembourg and Dakar cohorts, then devotes most of its pages to the 2016 Etats Généraux du Management, where the Business Science Institute was strongly represented. Organised by the FNEGE with the scientific management associations, the event took place on 26 and 27 May in Toulouse and was coordinated by Jacques Igalens, professor at IAE Toulouse and a member of the institute. The FNEGE 2016 survey on the impact of management research was presented by professors Michel Kalika, Sébastien Liarte and Jean Moscarola, all members of the institute, while the panel discussion on the impact of research from the managers' point of view was moderated by Michel Kalika and Jacques Igalens with Paul Beaulieu of UQAM. Eric Lamarque presented the results of the FNEGE barometer on the managerial concerns of businesses, and doctors Cédric Baudet, Frédéric Favre and Vincent Mottet delivered a paper on the move from research in management to research by managers. A final panel on professional doctorates, dedicated to producing rigorous and relevant research, brought together representatives from Grenoble Ecole de Management, the University of Monaco, Paris Dauphine University and the Business Science Institute. The issue also includes photographs from the Thematic Paradigm II seminar in Dakar and details of the institute's growing support organisation.
