The April 2020 issue is dominated by the institute's response to the COVID-19 health crisis. In the short term, the nine days of seminars scheduled in March and April for the Paris, Geneva and Frankfurt cohorts switched to an online format, all students were given open access to the Cairn platform with a reminder about EBSCO and ScholarVox, and every professor was asked to contact their doctoral candidates to review their situation. Because the crisis is likely to call into question the way organisations are managed, several research projects were launched so that the community could contribute to creating knowledge with impact: professors and doctors who have already written a book were invited to contribute chapters to a collective volume on the impact of COVID-19 on management practices, and more than twenty professors immediately answered the call; an online questionnaire on the impacts of the crisis was being prepared; and a call for one-page essays on the effects of the crisis was sent to two hundred doctors and doctoral candidates. The issue continues with testimonies on the impact of the Executive DBA, alumni news, new faculty members, the interview of the month, an award, certifications, communication, publications, videos, resources, admissions and the agenda. The editorial insists that the community can turn an unprecedented situation into a research opportunity, provided that the collected material is quickly organised, shared and published.
