The December 2020 issue opens with an invitation to a conference-workshop, presented not as a webinar but as a genuine workshop, where practitioners from around the world join small peer group discussions; registration details are given alongside Professor Henry Mintzberg's video Rebalancing Society and a link to his personal website. The interview of the month features Professor Michelle Bergadaà, faculty fellow at the institute. She explains that, having held a chair at ESSEC and then directed the Observatory of Strategy and Management Values at the University of Geneva, she has always maintained close relations with business leaders, knows their needs well and is passionate about adult continuing education. Asked about her description of the institute as a community of destiny as opposed to the grounded community of the university, she refers to her book Le temps entre science et création, published in the EMS collection of major French-speaking authors, to explain how she defines grounded communities.
