The March 2021 issue is built around a conversation between Aline and Professor Michel Kalika, president of the institute. Asked how he and the institute are doing, he jokes that DBA activity and barrier gestures have so far immunised him against COVID-19, and reports that the institute is in fine form despite a very uncertain context: nearly 200 participants enrolled from 47 countries, 80 graduates, and the very active support of almost 70 professors made possible by the networked organisation. A graph drawn from the database shows that the largest group of students is now German, closely followed by China and then France, and that 32 per cent of participants are following a distance learning format. Asked about the impact of a year of global health crisis, he explains that the institute is a networked international academic organisation which has operated remotely since its creation, with geographically dispersed support teams and professors, so the crisis has not caused any major upheaval in its functioning.
