À propos de ce document
The November 2021 issue announces six new books added to the EMS Business Science Institute collection. The first, in the DBA fundamentals series, is Doctors advising doctoral students, edited by Cédric Baudet of the first Geneva cohort, a 240-page volume gathering advice from Executive DBA graduates for students, particularly those working in parallel with their doctoral studies. It is divided into seven parts with short but detailed chapters guiding readers through the stages of the doctoral process, each chapter following the same structure: a specific question a doctoral student might raise, a few key words describing the content, a piece of advice developed in the body of the text, and references for further reading. The book stems from a series of meetings held each year during the International Week organised in Luxembourg. The issue also presents the Managerial Impact Prize, the interview of the month, a training course, the agenda, alumni news, October highlights, publications, media coverage, videos, admissions and news from management research. The five other titles announced in the same issue cover research methods and results from recent theses, further enriching a collection that has become a distinctive feature of the institute and a way of making managerial research visible beyond the academic world, in line with the impact prize presented in the same edition.
