The April 2016 issue confirms the opening of the new Paris cohort in the Opera district, with the first seminar on managing a thesis from 21 to 23 April and four further three-day seminars during the first year. The main announcement is a new partnership signed, thanks to IAE Lyon, between HEM Business School Casablanca in Morocco and the Business Science Institute, to launch an Executive DBA programme in 2016; applications are invited by email. The full first-year schedule is published: managing a thesis in November 2016, thematic paradigm I in February 2017, thematic paradigm II in April 2017, epistemology and qualitative methodology in June 2017, the graduation week in Wiltz in September 2017, optional in the first year and compulsory afterwards, and quantitative methodology in October 2017. A photograph shows Michel Kalika alongside Yasmine Benamour and Hassan Sayarh, executive directors of HEM, and Anass Nidam Elouadghiri, director of international relations at IAE Lyon. The newsletter also reports on the Thematic Paradigm I seminar held in Dakar from 10 to 13 March for the class of 2016-2018, led by professors Françoise Chevalier on human resource management and leadership and Jean-Pierre Helfer on strategy and marketing, with the ten students of the cohort. Finally, following an extraordinary board meeting on 14 March, Maurice Thévenet, member of the Scientific Council, was appointed secretary general of the FNEGE.
