The March 2017 issue introduces the second Parisian cohort of the Executive DBA, made up of eleven students of eight nationalities, French, Nigerien, Malian, Ivorian, Cameroonian, Chadian, Senegalese and Moroccan, with an average age of 44, the youngest being 37 and the oldest 51. These new doctoral candidates are active managers, consultants, entrepreneurs, administrative or financial directors, working in project management, services, finance, information systems, industry and the notarial profession, and share the same motivation: following a demanding programme guided by professors from prestigious universities and business schools while creating knowledge from their own experience. Their first seminar on managing the thesis was held from 23 to 25 February, with Thematic Paradigm I scheduled from 6 to 8 April. The issue also announces the partnership agreement signed between the Business Science Institute Luxembourg and the European Institute for Knowledge and Value Management, based in Niederanven, to develop jointly a German-language Doctorate in Business Administration group in Luxembourg. The two institutions are pooling their academic potential to meet the demand of German-speaking managers; the programme, taught in German and English, is aimed at active managers with at least five years of professional experience and an MBA or equivalent, will be delivered by professors from both institutions and starts in the last week of September at the Château de Wiltz.
