The March 2019 issue lists the agenda of the cohorts: Thematic Paradigms I for the sixth Dakar cohort from 15 to 17 March, Thematic Paradigms II for the second German-language Luxembourg cohort at the end of February, and Thematic Paradigms I for the fourth Paris cohort from 21 to 23 March. It then pays tribute to Cheikh Abdallahi Houeibib, who died on 24 January at the age of 57. An independent consultant and a student in the third Dakar cohort, he was working on a thesis about the governance and performance of public organisations in Mauritania, through the case of the Société Nationale Industrielle et Minière; the institute expresses its condolences to his family and loved ones. The life of the institute section offers photo highlights of the second Bamako seminar, held from 7 to 9 February in the presence of professors Geneviève Causse and Jean-Pierre Helfer. The newsletter introduces Damien Mourey as a new member of the Academic Council: a university professor at the Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay and a member of the IDHES research laboratory, he is a graduate of ESCP. The issue also covers the academic homage to the president of the institute, a distinction, awards, publications, videos and news from management research.
